What types of safety spectacles does Rubix offer?

• Safety spectacles
Lightweight and practical, the safety spectacles selected by Rubix combine comfort, performance and innovation. They provide optimal eye protection and are suitable for all professional environments. The 3M SecureFit 600 Series safety spectacles, for example, are suitable for the construction sector and the oil and gas industry, as well as for repair and maintenance work.

Spectacles with temples can be worn over prescription glasses.

• Goggles
Equipped with an elastic headband, safety goggles provide complete eye protection, including lateral coverage. They also ensure a perfect seal against the surrounding environment. Like safety spectacles, they can be worn over corrective lenses.

• Face shield for goggles

The face shield is worn in addition to goggles to protect the nose and mouth from liquid splashes or suspended particles. It attaches easily to the goggles.

What materials are used for the spectacles?

The lenses of our safety spectacles are made either from polycarbonate or acetate. The frames, meanwhile, can be made from various materials (stainless steel, titanium, nylon, acetate...).

Safety spectacles

Safety spectacles feature polycarbonate lenses. This material, both lightweight and robust, is particularly resistant to impact and provides excellent UV protection. It is suitable for mechanical and electrical work, as well as welding operations.

Goggles
The lenses of goggles are made of polycarbonate or acetate. Strong and durable, acetate is recommended for chemical work. It also offers high resistance to abrasion and scratches. However, it is denser and heavier than polycarbonate.

Multiple tints and coatings
